Needing more space, the decision was made by the owners to go up. Already a nice home, it was important that the design not only provided the extra 2 bedrooms and living space but enhanced its aesthetic qualities and took advantage of the views of the city to the north.
Lots of glass along the northern facade and multiple skylights flood the upper floor with natural light. Starting when you walk up the stairs with the circle window and skylight above.
Balconies at the front and back provide city views and cooling summer breezes for cross ventilation. Construction has just been completed so stay tuned for more photos.
