The Design Brief for this project was given by a representative of Housing NSW for a vacant block in Glebe, Sydney. It was a request for conceptual designs only.
Four apartments were required with one of those to be fully accessible by a wheelchair. Basement car parking was required and strong consideration was to be given to the streetscape.
Large balconies and private areas having solar access were a key to this design.
Not only commended by Housing NSW, this won a National Design Award from the Building Designers Association of Australia.
